1989
FOUNDING
In 1989, PNE Construction was incorporated under the name Petroleum Services Unlimited. Its initial service offering was underground tank decommissioning, but early success allowed for quick expansion into complete petroleum system installation as well as storage tank and fuel line testing.
1991
SERVICE EXPANSION + NAME CHANGE
By 1991, Petroleum Services Unlimited was providing a variety of additional specialty services like soil monitoring, hazardous waste investigation, and environmental construction. To signify its expansion into environmental services, the company changed its name to Pacific Northern Environmental.
1996
STANDALONE SERVICES
In 1996, new ownership separated the construction and environmental services into standalone companies. PNE Construction is now a division of our parent company, Pacific Northern Environmental (PNE).
